Paleface is not a name you'd expect on a rapper, since rap is a largely black culture. But then again, Finland isn't a country you'd expect a rapper to come from, but Paleface is Finnish so there you are. His earliest musical influences are his dad's collection of Motown records, not a bad basis if you consider the fact that in 1999 he made his first recordings as a rapper at the age of ten. Then he roamed about in symphonic rock, the Beatles and punk, learned how to play the guitar and the art of DJ-ing. This got him back to hiphop, a love that deepened during his year in the US as an exchange student. Finnish hiphop, it's not as unlikely as it seems.
