AboutNamed in 2005 as the third best Scottish band ever, in a public poll by the List magazine, Idlewild will release their much-anticipated fifth album, Make Another World, in early 2007. With the band's current line-up refreshed and re-energised after taking a break for much of last year, Woomble describes the new songs as containing, "Lots of good riffing and soloing from Rod and Allan, some tasty swing and kraut rock flourishes from Colin and Gareth, and some interesting lyrics, quite misplaced -- in a good way" |
