'10-feet' History:

The 3-piece pop-punk band 10-FEET first got their start in Kyoto. Besides holding an impressive energy and charisma on stage, 10-FEET is also well known for blending different musical genres ranging from heavy metal, reggae, and hip-hop into their individual style of punk rock. After touring exclusively in Kyoto and releasing a demo tape, in December of 2000, the band decided to move their operations to Tokyo. However, after doing so, the band lived in a period of extreme poverty as the move took a toll on their financial standing. They released two singles a year later and began a nation-wide tour in support of those releases. However, due to their economic status, the band members had to live out of their tour bus as they could not afford to live anywhere else. It was after the release of 10-FEET’s first album and their third single that the band decided to move back to their home prefecture of Kyoto in 2003. After that, 10-FEET began to flourish. The band started making releases off their own self-made label BADASS starting with their 4th single. Since then, 10-FEET has been able to make a number of successful releases and many of their shows including a one-man show in SHIBUYA-AX have sold out.
